My name is Michelle Colon and I have been researching my family for over 15 years. I start out when a friend showed me her family research and I saw how much I did not know about my family. I am from a divorce family and I am on only child. My grandmother both past away before I was born and these are the people who would have know a lot of the best stories for me. So I went to a Family History Library at my local Mormon Church to find the family history that I had lost. Along the way I have learn a lot of things and also learned that not every research way works for everyone. I find more than not most of my family has not been work on by many people so I had to learn to dig for what I found.
I have always said why reinvent the wheel if someone as already done it, but sometime you just need to tweak it in a way that work for you and your research. So I am starting the blog so maybe I can help someone you is on this new Journey we call Genealogy.
I also will have pages for the Family Names that I research hoping to connect with cousin I have yet to find so we can connect our tree to make the fuller.
